Commitment to Privacy
Crypto Buffy Bot is built with privacy at its core. We collect the absolute minimum information needed to operate the service. We do not collect, store, or process your name, email address, phone number, physical address, government ID, or any other personally identifiable information (PII).
Information We Collect
The only identifying information we store is your blockchain wallet address, which you provide when you connect to the service. Wallet addresses are pseudonymous by nature — they do not directly reveal your identity.
Authentication
Authentication is handled by Clerk, a third-party authentication provider. Any information you provide during sign-up (such as an email for wallet-based auth) is managed by Clerk under their privacy policy. We only retain your wallet address from the authentication process.
Data We Store
- Wallet address — your blockchain identity for the service
- Encrypted API keys — your Hyperliquid trading API credentials
- Preferences — risk level, trading settings
- Trade history — records of trades executed by the bot on your account
- Billing records — fee calculations, payment transaction hashes
API Key Security
Your Hyperliquid API keys are encrypted using AES-256-GCM before storage. Keys are only decrypted in memory when needed to execute trades on your behalf. We never log, display, or transmit your decrypted API keys.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third parties. Your data is used solely to operate the trading service on your behalf.
Retention & Deletion
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. Upon account deletion, we will remove your wallet address, encrypted API keys, preferences, and trade history. Billing records may be retained as required for accounting purposes.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use analytics cookies, tracking pixels, or any third-party advertising cookies.
